Voya Claims 360 strives to make it easier for covered employees to remember and use their benefits. This intuitive approach to claims continues to make a positive impact. Here are the latest results.

New Claims 360 results show more auto-paid claims, high satisfaction

Claims 360 helps engage and educate employees about their benefits, while encouraging utilization through an innovative claims process. And it’s making an impact – here are some notable 2021 results:

  • Voya Claims 360 claim integration processes resulted in $782,488 in paid eligible benefits in 2021 across 377 claims.1
  • $328,834 were paid automatically through the Short Term Disability (STD)-to-Accident and STD-to-Critical Illness auto-pay processes.1
  • $453,654 were paid from claims initiated by the claimant after receiving a reminder from Voya to file a claim.1

In addition, claimants taking the claims survey reported a 4.73/5 overall satisfaction rating2 (Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurance claimants, January 2021-January 2022).

Plus, those who submitted a claim thought the process was simple: 93.86% of respondents said “yes” when presented with the statement, “Voya made it easy to file a claim.”2 (Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurance claimants, January 2021-January 2022).

How does Claims 360 work?

It connects the claims process when employees have one or more of these four insurance coverages offered through their employers and Voya:

  1. Short Term Disability Income Insurance
  2. Accident Insurance
  3. Critical Illness/Specified Disease Insurance
  4. Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Claims 360 uses multiple process models to uncover potential claims across an employee’s active coverage, including: intuitive claims payment model; product-to-product Integration; STD-to-Accident auto pay; and medical claims integration.

These claim models are used to send reminders to covered employees when we can see they have experienced specific covered events and help encourage utilization. Voya Claims 360 also features comprehensive support, data-driven messaging, formless claims submission3 and an online Claims Center.
