Val and Vern

Voya's 2019 advertising campaign

Origami Orange Money® animals promote the importance of balancing today’s financial needs with preparing for financial security through retirement

On January 7, new Voya Orange Money advertising debuts. This year’s campaign addresses the importance of balancing today’s expenses with preparing for retirement.  Two new television commercials, in :30 and :15 versions, serve as the centerpiece of an integrated campaign that will deliver nearly 800 million advertising impressions throughout 2019 across television, radio, digital and social channels.

Voya’s popular origami Orange Money animals, “Val” the squirrel and “Vern” the rabbit return, promoting Voya’s ability to help one plan, invest, and protect for the future and today. Both commercials provide a witty approach to helping consumers understand the importance of preparing for retirement with a holistic approach to financial wellness.

These commercials reinforce Voya’s commitment to helping Americans build a secure financial future throughout their life. The campaign further positions Voya as a “go-to” resource for helping people save, invest, and protect their “Orange Money” through their retirement.

Our mix of :30 and :15 television spots will run across a range of entertainment, sports, and news networks and cable properties. They will also serve as online video supplementing the broader campaign assets running across digital media channels.

All Voya advertising drives viewers to, where they will find an “Orange Money” landing page with a call to action to engage with our myOrangeMoney® experience and further explore a wide range of Voya consumer content.
